Sometimes Life is About Risking Everything for a Dream No One Can See but You

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Happy New Year / New Year’s Eve! [Depending on where you are of course.] ๐Ÿ˜‰ I wanted to do a quick post for the Oneword event before I finished getting ready for tonight’s festivities. I don’t know about you by my New Year’s Eve plans changed multiple times. They started with a plan to go to a party at a bar that a friend of mine works at, then were changed to be at a friend of my boyfriend’s home for a party, ย and have now evolved to me having a houseful of people over for food, “friendly” competition, and fun. I say “friendly” because whenever my boyfriend Rob and his friends and my best friend Brian are playing anything it becomes this macho event. Kissing the Old Year Out, Kissing the New Year In

One minute to midnight
One minute to go
One minute to say good-bye

But he’s determined to take me and I can count on 2 hands how many times I’ve been able to talk him out of plans once he’s made his mind up. Anyways…

SL’s Tour of Lights

Free Bird sponsored a Tour of Lights in SL this weekend. I am very late in getting my post done for it and I apologize. Between my computer not cooperating when I was home and going to a Winter Solstice party that my boyfriend’s friend’s wife had put together (my first btw – and some interesting fun), I ended up spending more time away from home than I had thought I would. There is still time to go see all the pretty houses and decorations though. Look at some of the examples…

Walking Through a Winter Wonderland… or Nine of Them

I spent some time recently hopping all over the grid looking for a Winter sim to take some pictures on. I decided to put them all in a blog post and share them with anyone who is looking for a sim to take Winter pics on or just ones to explore. There are so many beautiful sims decked out for the season. Some are a little more festive than others but all of them are snowy and peaceful. (You’ll find links for the SLurls under each picture.)
