We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope

So, I’m a day-ish late with this post. Yesterday morning I went on a photo field trip with some of the Lindens to a sim called The Trace. (Apparently this is the first of several they have planned for the future.) I loved the sim. The Trace is a beautiful beachy sim that I had not been to visit before. I decided to combine some pretty landscape shots from the field trip with some more pics of goodies from the Wayward Hunt.

Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!”

Spring has arrived in SL! Like I did for the Winter season, I took some time to TP around and check out some sims with pretty Spring scenery for those of us who love to take pics and those who just love to explore. Come and take a peek…

Life isn’t About Finding Yourself. Life is About Creating Yourself.

This week for her Monday Meme Berry wrote about her blogging milestones. Since my blog and my posting regularly is new in comparison – sort of a toddler to Berry’s adult – I decided that I probably wouldn’t have too much to say about milestones quite yet. So I am doing last week’s challenge this week and because I am doing so on a Monday, the procrastinator in me somehow feels as if I am on time. Yes, I know. My logic is skewed – welcome to my world.

So last week for her Monday Meme, Berry proposed making motivational posters for Second Life. You know the ones. They were up ALL over the place – doctor’s offices, schools, company lobbies… I think I may have even seen one in a public restroom at one time. You can see her post about the topic here. She even linked it to a nifty website that lets you turn you images into a poster.

I think my poster is a little on the hokey side…

Every Act of Creation is First an Act of Destruction

I went searching for an urban-ish looking sim the other day and came across Virtual Decay. It made me think of The Walking Dead without actual dead bodies or zombies wandering around. And with the lights still on. But otherwise… yup, just like The Walking Dead. As I walked around I fully expected to have something jump out at me.

So I guess sans bodies and zombies, the sim looks just like civilization went to hell – in a not so nice way. I loved it. It was fun to walk around and find all the little details of destruction. Just take a look at the pictures…

I Wish I Could Show You … the Astonishing Light of Your Own Being

I have a good friend who has been going through a tough time lately. Besides being sick, she has been dealing with an overwhelming sense of the blahs. Having those blahs myself on occasion, I can empathize with how she feels. (*sends out huge hugs*) We all have our moments of being down, of feeling lost or alone, of thinking that there’s no hope. The thing to remember is that you aren’t the only person who feels that way.

Stories Make Us More Alive, More Human, More Courageous, More Loving

“People think that stories are shaped by people. In fact, it’s the other way around.”
~ Terry Pratchett

I took a look at the Destination Guide the other day and found StoryBrooke Gardens so I decided to take a look. Before I headed over there I swung by We ❤ Roleplay and picked up the newest fairy outfit from Evie’s Closet. I love Evie’s Closet – just saying.

There are a bunch of little areas to explore and sit and talk, each one super cute with little animals and fairies like snapshots in a kid’s storybook. (And yay for using gacha stuff!) I’m not in the way of feeling overly talkative so this is short and sweet, but go take a look at all the pretties…
